HOW AN ENGAGEMENT RUNS
In our experience, distributor development takes 12 to 36 months to generate revenue. Engagements are built for that timeline, with a short first phase that lets both sides test the fit before committing.
STEP ONE: A FIT CONVERSATION
A call about your products, the markets you want, and what you have in place today. We look at five things:
The size of the opportunity in the target markets.
Your ability to supply a new market, including inventory, regulatory standing, and logistics.
How the product is differentiated.
Who owns commercial decisions on pricing and channel.
Whether there is a multi-year commitment to the market.
If it is not a fit, we will say so.
STEP TWO: A SCOPING PHASE
A fixed-fee project of 30 to 60 days. At the end you hold four things:
A commercial-fit memo.
A distributor target list.
An economic model for the market.
A proposed agreement for the full engagement.
Either side can stop at the end of scoping with no further obligation.
STEP THREE: THE ENGAGEMENT
A multi-year agreement covering the services you select. The first year has four checkpoints:
Day 90: Commercial fit.
Day 180: Distributor coverage.
Day 270: Private label and OEM scoping.
Day 365: Revenue.
A missed checkpoint leads to a joint review of the cause.
WHAT YOU SEE EACH MONTH
A written activity report every month and a business review every quarter. Every distributor introduction and meeting is documented, so you know what was done and with whom.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
A decision-maker who can approve pricing or channel changes within 30 days.
A monthly report of sales by distributor.
START WITH THE FIT CONVERSATION
A 30-minute call is enough to know whether there is a fit.
